Applicants should be MDs or graduate students of Biomedical and Biological Sciences. Up to fifty applicants will be accepted: 25 from Brazil and 25 from other countries. The School will cover all expenses related to air tickets, hotel accommodation and meals.

Application
50 positions will be offered for medical doctors and graduated students in Biology or Biomedical Sciences. Half of these positions (25) are reserved for applicants from abroad. The other half will be distributed among applicants from São Paulo metropolitan area (15 positions) and students from other Brazilian States, Federal District and other regions of São Paulo State (10 positions).
 

Who can apply?
Medical doctors in residency or fellowship training, or in MD/PhD programs;
Graduate students in Biology or Biomedical Sciences;
Post-doctoral researchers;
What requirements need to be fulfilled ?
Applicants should send to the Secretary of the ESPCA on Primary Immunodeficiences the following documents:
• Biographical sketch (maximum of two pages);
• An application letter justifying the application in terms of what the applicant expects from the course and how the course correlates with the applicant’s research and professional activities.
• A one-page description of the student’s research project;
• An official letter of recommendation written by the applicant’s advisor or hierarchical superior.

Applications will be selected by a faculty committee coordinated by Prof. Magda Carneiro-Sampaio and the list with the names of the accepted applicants will be announced on the course site by October, 1st, 2010.
